    It was on the eighth day of October in the year of eighty-four.

  2. There lived in Lislea a man named Peter Connelly. Every time he would go to the town he would get drunk. He was about sixty years of age, and he was drowned about sixteen years ago. He was not a very tall man, if he had been tall he might not have been drowned. He was very drunk when he (died) was drowned. The place where he was drowned is up along a lane in Ballaghanea. The water was only six inches in depth. He
