    15. Slawnlus (slanlus) a weed which grows in meadows, which being soft and sappy, takes long to dry out properly and it retards the drying of the hay among which it grows, consequently it is not liked by the farmer.
    16. Figairee = a motion between a dance and walk. Sometimes it is meant for a fit of anger.
    17. Goosoon (Garsún) a boy between ages of 3 and 15 years.
    18. Gearrhaile (gearrchaile) = a girl.
    19. Kawlagh (Callaigh) = a woman, witch-like in character.
    20. Smidhereens (smidiríní) - small piece as "the cup broke in smidhereena"
    21. Boreen (Bothirín) = a little lane.
    22. Praties (prátaí) = potatoes.
    22. Ná bac leis - do not mind it ( or him) (now obsolete.)
    23. An bhfaca tú Oiney? Did you see Owney? (Now obsolete.)
    24. Kawpeen (Caipín) a cap.
    25. Kithull (citeal) a kettle.
