    slanting and hurdles each side where the people stored everything. The windows of those houses were very small because it was by the size of the windows the rent was determined.
    The next sort of house was a mud-wall-cabin but the arch was coming down stright.
    There was always a bed in every kitchen called a settle-bed and and in some houses it is still there.
