  1. A very long time ago Mass was said on the Aughalion Mountain. In those days the chapels were all closed and the people used to attend Mass on the hill top and it was said that a man was shot dead going home from Mass. He was buried where he fell and it is said that often times a light appeared at this spot. The priests used to carry their vestments with them and walk from one place to another and were in danger of being shot down.
