  1. (continued from previous page)
It being on a Good Friday before noon,
The Jews came in with their broad swords and guns
And pierced Our Saviour from hand to hand,
His Blessed Mother was standing by
With her great sighs and moans.

Those who say this prayer three times by night and three times by day,
shall never die in mortal sin or suffer the pains of Hell.

    Lady be the branch
    Christ be the flower
The Lord be with me now,
    And at my dying hour,
    Infant Jesus meek and mild
Look on me a little child,
Pity mine, pity me, suffer me to come to thee
Heart of Jesus I adore Thee,
Heart of Mary I implore Thee,
Heart of Joseph pure and just,
In these three Hearts I put my trust.

    Infant Jesus meek and mild,
    Pity me a little child,
Jesus take my heart and bless it
That nothing evil can possess it.
