    believe that the trap is still in working order and that it would tear a careless visitor to pieces, should he step on it. No less terror fills their hearts when the think of the ghosts of all that were slain in the vicinity of these grey crumbling walls. The place- to express it as the local people do- is said to be "walking with fearful spirits." These fears render the place almost unfrequented; except in Summer when exploring tourists visit the historic ruins- on pleasure bent.
