The little fairy who minds the fairy pot of gold is known in this locality as the leipreachan.
He is like a very small dwarf about two foot high. He is dressed in a red jacket, red cap with a white owl's feathers in it. He also wears a green trousers, and big long shoes with curled toes.
He lives in forts and cliffs of Ireland. His chief occupation is shoemaking and cobbling for the other little fairies because they dance so much they dance so much they are always wearing out shoes He is also(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
