    Suffering from cramps are offered up to St. Martin. When he is fat his blood must be spilled in honour of the Saint.
    Hens:-
    The "pick," is cured by putting a horse hair down their necks, or they are drenched with a spoonful of Jeyes Fluid, or, parafin oil.
