- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)men went on with their fishing. They came back in the morning. They saw nobody.
- Long ago there was a saint and his name was St Ibar. He built a school and a church on Beggeron Island in Wexford Hbr. There was a great many men going there to get taught. There were monks there to teach the men. One day there was an army of Danes going up the river Slaney. They raided it and burned it. They took all the gold and silver. They burned all the lovely books that belonged to the monks. The remains are still to be seen on the Island. St Ibar was buried on the island.
