  1. 1. Get a black snail without looking for it, rub to warts, hang it on a white thorn bush as the snail withers up, the warts go.
    2. If you find water in a hole in a stone, without looking for it, rub it on warts and they will wither away.
    3. Get the froth of potatoes water and rub it on the warts for three mornings.
    4. "Fasting-spit" rubbed on warts for nine mornings will cure them.
    5. Raw potatoe rubbed on warts for nine mornings will cure them.
    6. Give fasting-spit on "thrastle" for nine mornings and the warts will be gone on the ninth.
