people make pancakes in the evening, and when night comes all the people of the house gather around the table and have a great feast.
On Easter Sunday it is a custom to be up early to see the sun dancing. People eat a lot of eggs on that day. It was the custom in olden times to light fires on hills, and all the young people would gather around them boil eggs and eat them.
On May-day we hang a green branch outside the door to welcome the Summer. People neither borrow nor lend on that day. This is an old proverb. "To sweep the house on a May morning with a golden broom, you will sweep the head of the house away."
