  2. There was a man once upon a time who had a lovely daughter. The man said to his wife that he would bring his geese to the market of Longford.
    He took his daughter with him. They had no clock & they started in the middle of the night. On the way they met a party of people with lovely music. According as they passed they said - "Good night, Charlie that is a lovely daughter that you have." When they returned home that evening the daughter went to bed, & she could not be seen more except by chance & she wasted away until she died and all the neighbours would say that the "Good people
