    What goes up the ladder with its head down?
    Answer = A nail in a man's boot.
    How would a goose get down if she was on the top of a house?
    Answer = Off her breast.
    A duck before a duck, a duck behind a duck, and a duck in the middle between two ducks. How many ducks were there?
    Answer - Three ducks.
    I have a little house, and it wouldn't fit a mouse. There are as many windows in it as in the Lord Mayor's house. What is it?
    Answer = A thimble.
    I ran till I got it. I sat down to look for it, and when I couldn't get it I brought it home
    Answer - A thorn in my foot.
    Says the child to the father "How does it come that you are my father, and I' not your son?
    Answer : She was his daughter.
