The robin builds her nest in the side of a ditch. She lays five small eggs, and hatches them for three weeks. She makes a small nest of moss, hair, and feathers.
The thrush makes her nest of hay, and plasters it with mud all round inside, Thrushes build their nest in a thick hedge or in a whin bush. The female thrush lays four spotted eggs, and sits on them for a month.
The blackbird makes her nest of little twigs, clay and hay. She lays five blue eggs and hatches them for a month.
