   He fixed the churn and left it back again The next time he came back, there was a plate of pancakes left where the churn was, but he did not stir them. There is a fort in our field called the "Wood Park". About 40 years a man named Johny Kelly was passing by this fort at night-time. He saw a light in the middle of the fort. He could see the shadow of a man ploughing in the light. He could hear strange music and he did not know where it came from. Some times it seemed before him and other times behind. He went home very quickly because he knew there were fairies about the place.

   There is a fort in Dick Shea's field in Fermoyle. A banshee is supposed to be heard in it when a person in the townland dies. There is a ditch with bushes growing on it
