  1. There was once a man named Patrick Farrell from Derryhaun, he was going to be married and he asked the priest to marry him. The priest told him he was not a wise man to be getting married because money was scarce and it would be hard to rear a family. "But I am not stopping you from getting married" he said.
    Some time after Patrick got married. When he was rearing the family he got very poor and went to the priest for money. The priest said "Do you see what you got when you did not obey me." "O" said Patrick "I never thought anyone had such power except God"
