  1. Local Churchyards.
    There are four graveyards in the Parish of Carrickedmond. There is one beside the Church in Tashinney, there is another beside the Chapel in Abbeyshrule. There is another in Abbeyderg, and a fourth in Taughshinoid. There is no Chapel nor Church beside the last two graveyards.
    The people buy plots in those graveyards. The first person that is buried in the plot has a big tombstone put over him. There are small tombstones left on the graves of the other people that are buried. When the plot is full the people lift the first person that was buried, and they bury other people there. Some people sow flowers around
