  1. St. Patrick's Day falls on the 17th March.
On that day we wear shamrocks and harps. It is said that St. Patrick plucked a shamrock one day when he was preaching the Faith to the people and he said "As there are three leaves on one stem, there are Three Persons in One God"
Usually the local brass band plays Irish airs. It is considered very lucky to get a four-leaved shamrock. We always send shamrock to our exiles.
