    I am living in the District of Ballymahon. There are about a hundred houses in the district and there are about seventeen thatched houses and about seventy-six slated houses, and the rest have galvanised-iron roofs. There are a great many old people living in the district.
    Mr. Mc Gowan is a very old man, he is over eighty years of age, and this is his address.
