    Crib-making.
The boys used to make cribs out of "sally rods" for catching birds. They used to plait the rods together until it was a little round crib. Then they set the crib on the ground with a piece of stick under it and a long piece of twine attached to it, and they used to put food under the crib and when they would see the bird feeding they would pull the twine and then the crib would fall down on the bird. The people long ago used to to make dolls, guns, tops, cribs, and teddy-bears and these toys are not made now.
