  1. There are many holy wells in Ireland. Some of them are called after Saints. In Terlicken there is a well called after St. Patrick. It is situated in a field beginning to Mr. Mc. Bormack. There is a large tree growing over it. People get their warts and sore cured at that well, because it is said there is a cure in the water.
