  2. Local Cures - The Wart Well

    We went to see the wart well today. It is about a furlong from the school, in Gaynor's field on the side of Frewin Hill. The water is about a foot deep in a small hole on a fairly high ditch. The tree seems very old as it is crumbling and was cut down at some time as only the stump remains.
