  1. My mother told me this cure for warts.
    Count the warts. Put that number of stones in a paper bag. Drop it going down a road and dont come back that way. You should not look behind. Who ever lifts the bag will take the warts and you will lose them.

  2. We went to see the wart well today. It is about a furlong from the school, in Gaynor's field on the side of Frewin Hill. The water is about a foot deep in a small hole on a fairly high ditch. The tree seems very old as it is crumbling and was cut down at some time as only the stump remains.
