  1. My mother told me this story. There was supposed to be a leprechaun seen at the "Strand bridge" at Healy's some years ago. One night my grandmother and my aunt were coming from Mullingar late. It was a lovely moon light night and when passing the bridge they saw [a] little man sitting on the edge of the grass and he was looking up at them. This one was dressed in dark clothes but they did not ask to catch him. They kept going on as quickly as they could as they were
