  2. There are five large lakes in Cloran, they are very large and are of peculiar shapes, there is one the shape of a boat, another the shape of a harp, the third is the shape of a heart, the fourth is the shape of a spoon and the fifth is the shape of a bottle.
    It is said that long ago when fishing was very common in the country, the people came to fish to those lakes during mass-time instead of going to mass. The parish priest at that time was Father Murray and when he heard this he was
