  1. Once upon a time there were two brothers living in a house by themselves, They could not find any work, So one of the brothers said to the other I am going to start out and earn for myself, the other brother did the same.
Early one morning both of them started out, they arranged that at the first crossroads they would part. At that time there to be gates going into every town and anybody that went inside these gates without the King's permission should be beheaded.
So the two were brought before the king and he asked one of them what he could do. He said he could do carpenter's work. So he put him into the prison, He asked the other man what could he do, he said he could tell stories and sing songs, the king had a large family, and he sent him to tell them stories
He sat there telling stories for all he was worth, until the King and his family fell asleep so the man stole over to the King's throne and got the keys of the prison. He went down to where the other man was, he asked him what he was doing there and he said that he was going to be beheaded
