    The castle is built up on a hill.
    The walls of it are about ten or twelve feet in height. It was besieged by Cromwell.

  2. Causestown castle is situated on the Delvin-Athboy road near a fort. The field in which it is was a forest of trees. All the trees are cut down except one or two in the middle of the field.
