- A very old woman, asked one day if she believed that it were possible to take the butter from a neighbour's churn, said she didn't think it could be done. To prove this she told that when she was a child of eight, her mother not being able to churn one day sent her with a bottle of milk to the priest to get it blessed. She took the bottle and put it under her arm and, as the mother was in a hurry ran to the priest's house - a distance of about two miles. When she arrived, out of breath, she gave the bottle to the priest, asking him to bless it. He examined it and found that it was almost full of beautiful yellow butter!
