- Lord Barnwell was the landlord of Trimblestown long ago and Mr Brown was the tenant. When Mr Brown died the land was divided. Lord Trimblestown was a landlord and he lived in Balivor.
- Long ago Mr Walker's house was a Cathloc College for young students. There are some of the panes of glass still left.
