    About two miles from Collon in the direction of Drogheda, the most noted nursery in the British Isles, owned by Faulkner, stood.
    Gates and railings were made by a blacksmith named Patrick Donegan, who lived in Ardee St.
    Two coopers, named Mc. Cormacks who made barrels and churns lived beside the barracks.
    Nail-making was carried on by a nailer named Green who lived in Main St.
    A clock-maker, Pat Byrne, by name, made and mended clocks in his home on the Factory Hill.
