  2. Once there lived up at the "Stream" a tailor named Peakes commonly called tailor Peakes. One day he was working hard by the window on a Summers evening, so he had the window open. Just then a circus was passing through.
    An elephant was loose and he came to the window where the tailor was working, he put in the end of his trunk and the tailor gave him a "prod" of his needle, the elephant turned, and walking over to where the pool of water is, he filled his trunk, then coming
