  1. About 80 years ago in the castle that the Danes built there lived an old witch. She had three sacks of gold under the pillow of her bed. This day somebody tried to rob her and it is said that it was one of the Norsemen. The witch turned him into a dragon and kept it in her castle to stop anybody who came to rob her. This night about twelve Oclock she said she was going to die and she did not know what to do with her gold. So she said she would bury it. She got hold of the iron bars which were on the window and pulled them away from the walls. The walls fell on top of the witch and killed her and buried the gold. It is said who ever the witch appears to will find the gold under the stones.
