    child it will cure the child.
    (8) Pass the child to and fro under the belly of a donkey.
    Cuts or scars:- (1) If a dog licked a cut it would be cured.
    (2) If a thorn or a point of a needle is in your hand a foxes tongue drawn over it will extract it.
    (3) If you rub a cobweb or a Snaherla or
    (4) Snaahurlus* to a cut it will stop the bleeding and cure it.
    Anthonys Fire or Wild Fire:-
    (1) Cahill's blood would cure Wild Fire.
    The blood of a black cat will cure Wild Fire.
    Scurvy:- A grass that grows in lake Muscraighe on the Galtees; to boil it and drink the juice and throw away the grass.
    Poultices:- (1) St. Patricks Leaf (or plantain) will draw all matter from sores; coarse side for drawing fine side for healing.
    (2) Get a Root of Cumfree (Comfrey) and take of the skin and scoop out some of the root and put it in a rag and put it in to the sore.
