The butter was taken from people and they sent for the priest. He came and when he began mass he told them to start making the churn. When mass was over they had no butter made. He said prayers and still no butter was made. He prayed on and the butter was made. The priest brought back the butter despite the Pishogues. - IV
On May Eve, one of the family goes to the crops in the fields, and digs a sod at each corner of the field and put Holy-water under the sold to bring luck on them.- Informant

- One day a man was digging in his field he found some eggs at the end of every ridge. Some times afterwards all the fowl died, and when they went to make the butter they could not make it.
