  1. (continued from previous page)
wasn't his own daughter, but that his own was taken by the fairies. The poor man was then troubled, and the druid told him that if he got a body of men and good horses, he could rescue her if he took his advice. Then the druid told him to be at Knocklofty bridge on a certain night at twelve o'clock where he would see a band of horses galloping along. This daughter would be on the second last horse and his only chance of rescuing her would be to gallop in and snatch her from the horse. The man did as the druid advised, and succeeded in rescuing her. When they arrived home the other daughter had disappeared and nobody saw her ever afterwards.
    End.
