“A certain woman who was drunk swore on Fr Sheehy.”
A certain woman who was "drunk" swore on Fr Sheehy. She was afterwards drowned in a barrel of beer. This woman was buried in a graveyard between Fethard and Clonmel. In the morning the graveyard was moved to the other side of the road, but the grave in which Moll Dunlea was buried remained in the same spot. (no title)
“A man named Clear lived in Kilbury about 1730.”
A man named Clear lived in Kilbury about 1730. He was the master of the foxhounds. One night after a day's hunting the hounds got very excited. Mr Clear went out to the kennels and one hound knocked him and the rest tore him to pieces. - Informant
