    As a boy was walking near a fort
    upon a warm day
    He chanced to see a Leprechaun
    who was hammering away
    He stole up on tiptoe in the hope
    that he would catch
    The Leprechaun, but soon found
    that he had his match

    The Leprechaun looked up quite swift
    and says isn't it very cold
    But Sean replied don't mind the
    weather but hand me out your gold.
    Says the goblin don't be sure for I
    have no yellow horde
    As I have lent it to my friend who
    lives at Waterford
    III
    That is no excuse now then my man
    replied the indignant Sean
    And then he took up a stick to beat
    the Leprechaun
