(13) When you see fleecy white clouds as one would imagine hanging from the sky, it is the sign of rain. (These are called wool packs). (14) When you see the robin in cold weather washing himself in locks of water it is the sign of hard weather. (15) When the swallows leave this country early, it is always a sign that we are to have a hard winter. (16) Sheep or goats who have been grazing on the top of a mountain, and that come down to the bottom always show that we are going to have bad. weather.
