money is ever left at it.
Some years ago there was a trout in the Well, but the County Council when repairing the Well, and putting an arch over it took the trout out and put it in a tub of water beside the Well, but one day while the men were at their dinner the trout got out of the tub and was dead beside it when they returned. Several trout have been put in the Well since then, but none of them lived.
Saint Kieran's Well is in the townland of St. Kieran, in the parish of Dorrha, in North Tipperary.
