  1. Holy Thursday is greatly observed in this district.
    After Mass the little girls walk in a procession of the Blessed Sacrament from the High Altar to the Altar of Repose.
    During the day the big girls kneel in adoration two at a time for half an hour.
    After Mass two girls kneel before the Altar of Repose and in half an hour their places are taken by two other girls for another half hour, when two others will replace them and so on until 6 o'c in the evening.
    The girls wear white veils while in Adoration.
    On Good Friday there is a procession again to bring the Blessed Sacrament back to the High Altar.
