  1. A Funny Story
    In years gone by there was a dance going to be held in a house in a bog. One of the young men of the house went up to the upland to invite some men to the dance.
    Their way to the dance led over a very narrow path with a deep drain on each side of it.
    The man that gave the invitation knew the path so well that he could walk it with his eyes closed, but the others did not know the way, so the man said he would lead them as the night was dark.
    They had to walk the path in single file owing to it's being so narrow, and as the leading man was walking along he did not think he was so near the bend, he
