  1. We play different kinds of games. Some of them are:- Pickety; Skipping; Fair Rosa; Thady, Thady, shovel the corn; Dan, Dan, thread the needle; All as black as pokers; Hide the stone; French-tig; All around the mullbery; Chickame, chickame, chock; Colours; Grandmother Grey; Handkerchief; Follow; Four corners.
    In summer we play "Handkerchief"; Thady, Thady, shovel the corn"; "Colours"; and "Willie wagtail".
    In Autumn we play "Dan, Dan, thread the needle"; "Chickame, chickame, chock"; "Grandmother Gray"
    In Winter we play "Follow"; "Blind man's buff"; Sliding on the ice; Making snowmen and snowballing.
    In Spring we play "Picketey"; "Fair Rosa"; "All as black as pokers"; "French tig"; "All around the mullberry bush"; "Four Corners".
    The way to play "Dan, Dan, thread the needle" is :- All the girls join up in a line and two girls go away and choose two colours. The girls in the line run around singing,
