  1. Liss in Farnane
There is a liss in Dan Hayes' field in Farnane, a townsland in the parish of Cappamore. It is round in shape and trees grow on it. There is a path around it.
Fairies are supposed to dance around every night.
Light travels from Fennelly Wood in Portnard, a townsland in the same parish, to this liss every night about one o'clock. Before the light is seen a cock crows.
