  1. A Leprachaun is often seen mending boots in Knockainey near the fort of Aíne He wears a green jacket and red cap and he is about five feet in height. There was a man going one night to a fair. He met the leprachaun who asked for money The man gave him two shillings and he went away.
    After a while he met him again and asked him for more money but the man said that he had more money than himself, after a long time he went away
