    in it, this stick was about 8 1/2 inches long and should fit into the hole. They they made a hole on top and stuffed it with a haw. They they shoved the stick and the haw would go.

  2. Long ago there were no factories to make toys the people made their own toys, some of those were, tops, snares and guns for the boys and daisy-chains and toss-bobs for the girls.
    Tops: Tops were made with a piece of thick stick and a nail put into the ends.
    Snares: They were made with wire and a stick, and then they tried to kill rabbits with them.
    Guns: These were made from pieces of wood.
