- There are many different thing said about the weather. In this district when the wind comes from the west it is nearby always followed by rain. When rain is coming the sky looks black and cloudy. The swallows and other birds can be seen flying low when rain is near. When plover and seagulls can be seen in great flocks we have another sign of bad weather. Some of the signs of good weather are to see the sky red in the west when the sun is setting, and also to see the sun rising pale in the morning.
