  1. There is hidden treasure in Mr Crud's Castle. Long ago when the Danes were around people used to hide their gold and silver in the castle from them. A Mr Watson is supposed to have hidden jewellery in Mr Creed's castle. When he was hiding it he took an Alsation dog with him and ever since the dog is seen there.

  2. There is supposed to be hidden treasure in the Castle Hill.
    It was hidden by the Danes when they came to this district
    After plundering the churches they hid the Chalices and Ciboriums etc. there. There is a house under the Castle Hill, and the treasures are supposed to be hidden in it.
