    say, that if you stood in the centre of it and the bell for mass was ringing you would not hear it, and that the bell at the consecration of the mass would be heard plain.
    There are many small wells in the district. There is a small well which I know in Cloyne. It is in a wood called Creed's wood.
    The water of this well is supposed to cure warts.
    At Our Lady's Well some people have been cured of sickness. One woman from Cove was cured there. This woman erected a beauftiful statue of Our Lady near the well.
