- The games I play are, Hide-and-seek, Lazy old Mary, Ring-a-ring-of-roses, Skipping and Pickey.
Skipping is usually played during the winter. You should have a good long rope and two girls to turn it. It should be turned a certain way to let the other girls get in. Then two girls would jump into the rope while it is turning. (These two girls would jump into the rope while it is turning). These tow girls would have names - one named Peter and the other named Paul. The two girls turning the rope would sing this verse.
Two little blackbirds sitting on a wall,
One named, Peter and the other named Paul.
Fly away Peter, and fly away Paul.
Come back Peter, and come back Paul,
The two girls skipping should try and skip out of the rope when their names would be called. When they are called back they should try and skip back into the rope and keep on skipping.(continues on next page)- Collector
