  2. All Souls Night was a great feast all over the world. Everybody lighted a candle on that night for the souls. It was said that people should not be out after twelve oclock on that night. Long ago an old woman lived alone in a country-place. She had no clock, or watch, so she did not know the time. All Souls’ Night she got up very early to go to the market.
